Flat in Chelsea Harbour
Three friends decided to pool their resources to buy and renovate a beautiful apartment in fashionable Chelsea Harbour. This was an ambitious project; the apartment was taken back to its ‘bare bones’. The floor space was then completely reconfigured to meet today’s demand for stylish and modern living.
Clare Gaskin the Interior Designer was given a major role overseeing the builders on a day to day basis, sourcing and implementing new a kitchen, bathrooms, floors, ceilings, lighting and artwork.
The idea was to go for a modern metallic look and “to break out of the greyness of London, with a richer and warmer feel.” They decided to have electric tracks in the reception so they could easily open the curtains to reveal the stunning view of the River Thames and harbour below.
