Ensuring the quality of every product that leaves our workroom is imperative for the high spec finishes and window dressings our customers have come to expect.
As part of quality control we ensure that all our curtains and blinds go through a rigorous checking process before anything is dispatched to our fitting teams who are ready to transform windows across London and the home counties.
Our quality control process starts the moment your chosen fabric arrives at our workroom. Our team will check the fabric for faults or flaws before any cutting commences. At this stage we also check the quantity of fabric and pattern repeats.
Our products are quality controlled at various stages throughout the manufacturing process.
All our newly manufactured curtains and blinds go through a test hanging on our newly built curtain hoist. We are excited to have recently commissioned this new piece of kit.
During a test hanging, curtains and blinds will go through a series of checks including:
• Checking measurements and drops
• Widths and spacing of the pleats and headers
• Hook placement for curtains and ring placements for blinds
• Sequence and mirror matching fabric patterns
• Quality of the stitching
• Hanging time for flexible fabrics to check the final shape
